Metal platform bed frames are almost consist of the free standing platform. They are by the most modern type of designs reflect a smart elegant style. There are costlier than MDF and on par with wooden frames. They are an easy choice for an home that is constructed out of a lot of steel and glass.

With Or Without Storage And Drawers

One of the main reasons why people are interested in platform beds is because they provide storage. You might not even have the option of drawers if you opt for the raised platform, although some standard designs also lack storage. The number of drawers varies but generally the larger the frame size the more drawers you’ll have. A king platform bed frame can have as much as six drawers with three on each side. Smaller bed frames such as a twin bed typically have 2 to 3 drawers that open only on one side.
